King Solomon coaxes the Shepherdess to the wedding alter where in confusion and sadness, she drinks all the Blue Liquid and marries King Solomon (A Lovely Sight To See). King Solomon lays the Shepherdess down to consecrate his marriage to her (You Will Be Mine). Before he can do so, the Shepherdess, who has overdosed on the Blue Liquid, dies in his arms, where she is finally united with her Shepherd in The Special Place (Love Awakened). In the Heavens, The Shepherdess and The Shepherd marry and finally go to the special place that The Shepherd took such care to prepare (Love's Finale). |
